DRESS CODE/UNIFORMS

All students, Pre-K through 5th grade, are required to wear Choices In Learning collared shirts Monday through Friday. Students may wear the Choices Cheetah Spirit Shirt on Fridays as an alternative to the collared shirt. Students are required to wear either khaki or navy blue bottoms (shorts, pants, skorts or jumpers) along with the uniform shirts. Denim bottoms are NOT allowed Monday through Thursday. Blue jeans/denim pants are allowed on Fridays when worn along with the spirit shirt or a uniform shirt. No flowered pants, camouflage or ripped pants are allowed with any uniform shirt. Children are encouraged to tuck in shirts, wear a belt (when there are belt loops) and maintain proper grooming. Hair is to be a natural color. No scarves, colored knee socks, etc.  All shoes must be closed toe shoes with rubber soles. Crocs are not allowed for safety reasons. Tennis shoes must be worn at PE. No sneaker skate shoes are to be worn on campus. Students must wear their uniform daily. In cold weather, students must wear required uniform sweatshirt and/or heavier jackets. In cold weather, a long sleeved shirt, matching in uniform color, would be permitted as a "layered" look. The teachers or school staff will send home two reminder notices if your child is not following the school uniform dress code. The third time a student is not in uniform will result in a school discipline referral to the school administration for not being in compliance with the school uniform policy. A school detention may be given. Student's who wear their uniform correctly will have opportunities to earn "Cheetah Pride" vouchers.
